You might be surprised by some of the findings. For example:

  • Small businesses and midsize companies (those with 500 employees or less) were most likely to have suffered a severe decline in sales in 2009.
  • Larger businesses (with more than 500 employees), have reaped more benefits from the federal stimulus bill
  • In 2010, companies are staying cautious with cost containment as a top strategy

The attached report from Enterprise Management Associates confirms that 89% of the total SAP Customers who are running SAP on VMware are reporting average uptimes as high as ninety-nine percent. Early adopters of SAP and VMware have also reported SAP project upgrade savings of 33%.
VMware and SAP have forged a technology partnership to improve cloud computing on critical ERP Systems like SAP. Together these industry giants are working to streamline TCO, ROI for their customers and it's only the beginning.
